They may sound very different, but one could find a lot of similarities in its form.
Plus if you know from English class that you can draw comparisons from anything if you felt like it lol.
 
I hate sarcasm when it comes to criticism, if I think something could be done better or whatever, I just say it.

I haven't seen the OP's videos, nor have I watched any of PDP's videos, but if I found that one was trying too hard to emulate the other, my comment would read something like "Hey mate, I think you're trying too hard to emulate PDP, maybe come up with something original".

No fuss, no muss.

Well, I guess I am considerate. I'm not out to hurt anyones feelings, but I do have a tendency to say what I think with a certain....bluntness :/

People tend to forget that we are all human beings, even on the internet.

As for the whole comment deal, I probably would have sensed it was sarcasm after reading it. What would have clued me in would be the overuse of the exclamation points. I'm sure someone being legit would come off more... I guess I could say sincere, but hey.
