Reply button not working?

The Google Plus pages are being integrated with YouTube. I don't know the specifics, but it has caused other complications, all of which google denies.

No, that just means that it may have problems until either google gets off their a** to fix this, or the bug just resolves itself. I believe that it is a google plus thing, because it seems like only people with google plus on their page have this problem. It looks like you don't have it though. Did you delete it, or did you just never have it?

i do have google plus. where do u look to see if i have it?

i dont see what google+ would even have to do with the reply button. why would one effect the other? and i tried it and it didnt solve the problem with the reply button. all that did was delete all the videos i shared on google+ so i had to re-share them. i dont see how that could have worked for anybody.

Because Google owns YouTube and this is a known issue - for some time now. Don't believe me? Try any other browser with your same YouTube login and/or on any other computer and the problem will be there. Now, try logging in with a different YouTube account (a friend's or one that is not connected to Google+) and "Reply" works. NOTE: If you use Google+ more than YouTube and/or Google+ is more important to you than replying to YouTube comments, just forfeit using the Reply button until the issue ever gets resolved.

Sounds like you may have done it wrong or left out a step. When you log-in to Google (any Google site, even just "Google.com") what do you see in the far left corner of the menu bar on top? If it says "+You" you did it right and the Reply button should now work in YouTube comments. If it says "+(your Google/YouTube screen name)" then you did it wrong and need to re-follow the instructions. Also, once it says just "+You", be sure to completely log out and then log back in to your YouTube account.

I just looked on your youtube page. There would be a red G for google plus on the right hand side, like how there can be for twitter or facebook if you attach those to your account. If yo uhave it, I wonder why it wouldn't appear. Have you ever used it for anything?

thank you. i tried it again and it worked. i didnt log out and log back in to youtube the last time.

oh i didnt like specifically attach any of those things to my account but i do have them. is it supposed to show automatically?
 
ok update on my situation... it did work and i was able to reply to a few comments, then watched a video, then tried to reply to a comment again and now its not working again! i tried logging out and logging back in to youtube twice, but this did not work. do i need to do the whole google+ thing every time now? cause i just re-shared all my videos on google+ and it would really suck to have to do this every time. google better work this nonsense out.
 
im sorry if i sound like im freaking out but this is really annoying and i hope it works itself out soon. i went through the whole google+ steps again but i cant be constantly doing this and having to re-share everything.
