Recognized in Public!

The closest thing I ever got to this was my University Campus. When I was doing my vlog channel and uploading regularly the people at my University eventually saw a few and when I was walking through the college campus 1 day like 2 people who I didn't know stopped me and was all like "Hey your the lad who does the uni videos?" and well yeah.

They said they liked my stuff and thought I was funny, and explained how they found me by accident :p Pretty unique feeling I have to say but awesome non the less :)
 
Yup, I had it happen. Wanted a selfie with me an everything. Pretty strange, but I was glad to strike a pose. If I can bring a smile to someone in person that approaches me I certainly will go out my way to make that happen. It happened at Cars and Coffee. Last month I was recognized by quite a few people, but I was on the tail end of being sick, and actually got round two the next week (probably because I was thickheaded and went out there... I just had to... the previous month was cancelled due to inventory control and I was jonesing for some car show action). I kept my distance. I told them though, and they understood. I wonder if more people will recognize me next month. Or I can walk the show with no one recognizing me.
 
nope. has never happened before but i'm sure it was pretty cool. i can't wait till that happens to me! only bc i think it'll be cool to put a face to a number. i'm pretty sure i'll never forget that person haha.
 
Yes, I was recognized once at the gym. The intro to one of my videos was filmed at the same gym and I made sure the name and location of the gym was in the hashtags. When this person did a Youtube search for this gym, my video came up and a week later he saw me there and said something.

The feeling of being recognized was surreal.
 
Woah, you're gonna be a celebrity one day man!!! Congratz, but to your question. Nope, I live in Asia but my channel targets US or the UK and Europe so not once I was spotted lol
 
That usually happens to me at cons, mostly cause they recognize me from the videos I made about the previous year's con. It is cooled to be known as Mark Rodriguez in public LOL
 
That's amazing. I never show my face, as all my stuff to date has been documentary. I do voice-over though. One of the best known doc guys on YouTube is Top5s. He told me on Twitter that he was recognised once from his voice alone. Now, that would be cool!
