Really google+? Really?

Yeah, Google+ is just an annoyance. I don't know if it is me, but navigating to remove it was a pain in the a**. For me, when I have to Google something, that means it is difficult. But that's not the case all the time.

Status update: My avatar just came back. So all seems to be okay for now...except that my channel name went from SoulRed Studio to just SoulRed12. I want my channel to be titled "SoulRed Studio" but I want to post as SoulRed12 >:(

Hate to be the odd one out here..
But Google+ is fantastic.

I mean I know a lot of people don't like new things and it was a trend at first to hate it.. But I joined since the beta and I really like it - I mean it's annoying for me because I had a Google Account which was my YouTube account and Google+ account and now they basically changed it to now I have a Google Account which controls my Google+ profile which manages my Google+ Youtube Page which manages my channel...
That bugs me.

But looking at it from a marketing point of view Google+ gives you the tools and resources to in a sense control your visibility, profile and presence on Google.

Does anyone know how to connect the google+ and youtube feeds? Such that, if I post some text update to my youtube feed (e.g. "Getting ready to post a new video tomorrow about blah blah"), it shows up as a status or whatever on Google+, and vice versa. Or do I just have to post separately to both?

I'd say at first, I felt like you guys did, but when I tell you, google+ is popular, it's worth joining. I have received at least 50 subs within my first week of joining. I'm a gaming channel so I naturally joined different gaming communities. I go on there more than I do on twitter. It sucks that you're eventually gonna be made to join but I'm telling you it's worth it in the long run.[DOUBLEPOST=1382452506,1382452269][/DOUBLEPOST]

Technically when you upload your videos, where the link is where you can check to share to facebook, twitter, there's a choice to share automatically to google+ granted you've connected your google+ with youtube. If you haven't connected both, at the top of the YouTube page to the right, you click on the arrow near your channel name. It gives you 2 sections YouTube settings and Google+, there will be an option to connect. Also it may pop up to connect.

im sure they will require you to join whenever they decide to redesign the youtube layout (yet again) to be even more obnoxious =(

Which do I click? I don't even know what the first two options are :/

EDIT: How do I even get rid of the first two? I just want to make a fan page on Google+ that is connected to YouTube

Ok, I think I might join google+ soon. I have used the service with my primary gmail account for a long time, and I have many friends who use it as well. I tried connecting my YouTube channel, but it became too complicated (especially with the 4 options) and my YouTube username became the same as my google+.

Yep, I'm really annoyed on what they are trying to do here. I still get constant "Would you like to connect it with your google+" etc, etc. Why do this, google? Why!?
