Ray William Johnson Posted This on Twitter About His Split From Maker

I didn't even know it was this BIG. Oh my god. What the heck? But it's business, and business has its dark sides. I lost some respect now with the CEO of MakerStudios.

That's um..ermm.. Dramatic. This is like everything else.. As time goes by, people forget. If Maker studios can survive a few months a year being a bit lean - they will be fine. Time Magazine did an article on the US army and the way it treated the Qu'Ran and people rioted. This resulted in several deaths. Their subscribers dipped dramatically and now is up from where it was. Businesses make mistakes all the time, they all bounce back if they can weather the initial storm.

That might be true, the reason I said that is because word of now on steroids because of things like social media. Before Twitter, Facebook, etc if a company did something wrong there were way less people that found out about it.

That being said, I probs did exaggerate a little bit in my post and you are right in what you're saying; they defs could pull things together for themselves. What I do believe though without a shadow of a doubt is that this incident will have a bigger impact on them than it would have had say 5-8 years ago. Thus, it will be even harder and will take even more effort for them to recover from this.
