Hello all!

I am interested in the IZEA YouTube Sponsorship website,
and am curious about a detail in their Terms of Service,

It essentially says you have to be over 18 to join, why is this? I'm 17 and this is kind of bugging me...
I'm not sure exactly why one would need to be 18 to join such a site online, also, aren't there
other sites like this that only require you to be over 13 to register?

Thanks!

Probably to avoid some type of law that makes it annoying for them to do business with minors...you can probably sign up through a parent or guardian though. Maybe even a friend who's 18 yo

They only offer their services to those who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. It's the same reason Google requires people to be 18 to join Adsense and monetize your videos.

Social media sites often require people to be 13, but, when money and contracts are involved, the age goes up to 18.
