How do YOU go about making money on your channel posting gaming content? I thought you weren't allowed to monetize gaming videos since the content belongs to the game itself? Or is that just with COD, or do I have it wrong either way?

My channel mostly focuses on games that I have created, so I do own 100% rights to monetize whatever I want with those games. Also, the main form of monetization for my channel is not YouTube ads, it is the ads in the games I create as well as some other monetization platforms in indie game development. All that said, it usually falls under fair use for videos that are not of your own game if you have commentary.

Parents understand a lot, especially if they are open minded and follow the world. And being closed minded c**t is not restricted to age.

Ou yeah definitely. I think I literally can see how "talking out of your own a**" became an ideology. Which is amazing.

And also, if you want to get a little sadder, but see the point. Go now to "Boogie2988" channel, and check his new video, where he talk about add blocker, and asks for people to at least whitelist. The video is called "Help Content Providers - Turn Off Adblock".
And then scroll down the the comment section.
And you will see my point, that being a d**k, who has no clue what he is talking about, has no awareness of any description of how the world works, is something that passes all ages, races and culture.

Wow, I feel lucky. My mom was actually the one who pushed me to start making YouTube videos when I told her I wanted a beauty channel. She was the one who got my dad to give me his old flip for me to use to film It almost gets annoying how much she asks me about it! But I guess I'm really lucky to have a mom who is so supportive of it

And all those people who told you you couldn't are just going to end up looking stupid when you achieve what you want Most of the famous youtubers I watch came from everyone laughing at them and telling them they couldn't to millions of subscribers!
