Gaming OPTIKS Gaming - looking for a new Media Manager

I have a blue snowball microphone it is good quality :p
I used to have one, USB mics are not optimal, and even though the mic quality isn't bad per say, you can definately hear that it's an entry-level microphone. You could get a good non-usb Mic in the same price range, plug that s**t through your interface, and you have way better sound quality.

Personally I can reccommend the RODE PROCASTER, had it for a while, it's delicious. The scarletrite 2i2 interface is good for it's price, and it's soundcard will more than suffice both for this mic and headphones of your chosing.[DOUBLEPOST=1397056457,1397056372][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm glad you visisted our website,

I agree aswell with the mutual benefit, and I don't try to come off here as some sort of major gaming community, with over a million members and constant activity. If I did so, then I apologies, because that wasn't the intend. But our activity is big enough to sustain a steady view count for an upcoming YouTuber, but obviously not big enough for someone who's already running with over a 1000 subscribers, perhaps even more. We've been rather inclosed, in terms of advertising, and are trying to open up.

To break it down, we're looking for someone willing to record game footage whenever we do scrimmages, events etc, to produce newsletters and just overall content that would advertise the community, perhaps a trailer.
Alright, thanks for clearing that out ^^
I have a lot of experience with growing a Youtube channel, it's actually my job. Here are a few guides I've written to get you started:

Thank you for the guides, we really appreciate it. You seem experienced with this website and YouTube in general. Would you know where the most likely place could be to find someone that'd be willing to maintain a YouTube channel on behalf of a gaming community, whilst gaining his own perks from it. Because that's what we're overall looking for.

How often would we be required to be recording, producing newsletters and content?

Don't get me wrong, I think someone working for mutual benefit to provide more content is a great idea, and so on.
But I visited your website, and even the first post you see on the frontpage, has 9 views. I doubt that this could really "drive" traffic per say.
As I said, I'm not trying to down your idea, I'm just interested as to where the traffic would be coming from.

The funny thing is, that post was made this morning... In fact 3 hours ago.
Most of our users are not even online yet, as it is still morning

We are in the growing stages of our community. Therefore we need some footage produced generally I would say about twice a month.
Really looking for a self motivated individual to handle the "Youtube presence" of our community. AKA, the Youtube channel, subscribers, comments and advertisements.

This position will be listed as "Community Media Manager", and will hold a valid staff position within OPS. A example of a "gameplay trailer advert" is shown in my channel link below which is the channel main trailer "E30 m3 backroad rally". We are looking for vids like that, but with much more skill level in editing and promoting our site.

If a video reaches over 50 thumbs up, then $10 will be sent to the media manager via Paypal.

If you would like to check out my channel and see if i may be someone you would be interested in handling the channel.

Will talk about this interest with our council later today. So this is forsure something you are interested in?
How often do you play Minecraft? (which is good, as we have 3 Minecraft servers currently in OPS).

Please Note: To all others viewing this thread. We are still OPEN to new applications!
