I've Got It
When I first created my channel I did anything but upload on a regular basis. I barely uploaded once a month. My videos and my channel still continued to grow and gain more traction. I do however believe if you upload consistently youtube's algorithms might actually favor your channel above other less active channels. I do know how it feels like to not have time to youtube because of work, school, family, etc. but if you do stick with youtube, even if it isn't as consistently as most, your channel should still continue to grow.
