One other thing to consider is that their company would also own the video. They would be able to license it out if they wanted and also be able to post it other places.
In another topic or earlier on this one, somebody said that the contract states that they only monetize the video on YouTube, not elsewhere.
This is what is confusing me though, from the few offers I've seen, they've been offering amounts that would only get them a profit in the long-term if even..
That's not my case. They want 30 top videos earning videos and only offered $45,000. That's an average of $1,500 each. This isn't peak ad season, it's May, but by December, they would already be earning their money back and it's in perpetuity after that.
