Nervous to show my friends my channel?

I didn't want my friends to see mine because I feel it's less pressure and less embarrassing if they're unaware of my vloggy-type channel (they aren't the most supportive bunch XD), but then again maybe the view boost helps?

They did actually find my channel recently which was embarrassing and now I can't decide whether to move videos to a different one or plough on!

EDIT: the link's broken because I privated my vids 'til I decide what to do lol!

I would say plough on, its a good starting point if your friends watch and give feedback on your videos. Maybe they will even sub, I told my friends straight away and started to grow from there. You can check out my channel its called: NabzTheGamer
 
I would definitely plough on with it, trust me, I know is can be extremely nerve-wracking to tell your family and friends about your channel. But if they are your actual friends, they will support you no matter what happens! I told my friends and when they post a new video they always watch, can't say the same for my family, but it doesn't matter if some people don't support you! Move on, and don't care what they think! Hope this helped!! :)
 
I was afraid of my cousins discovering my videos, but finally I had to pretend that I am proud of my work, so they couldn't say anything anymore. Just be proud about your content and let your friends decide to give TRUE feedback to your channel. So keep your channel growing.

I had inconvenient feeling when two of my classmates found out about my channel. They watched certain video about biology to prepare on the test. They said that they couldn't understand the topic anyway :D
 
DUDE! DON'T MOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!

Seriously, the best people to promote your videos are the people you know in real life. If they don't like your videos, convince them that the videos are great until you change their minds :D

I actually had a very similar problem. My friends found my videos. Instead of supporting me they laughed and took the p**s. At first this really shot my confidence and i wanted to hide my videos from them but then i realized that i enjoy making videos and others enjoy my videos so F**k what "friends" think.

I Ploughed on and im so glad i did. Either they will be supportive or they will get over it quick! All the best for your channel dude.
 
In my case, my friend suggested I make one! Generally when we would play games, I would always be entertaining, leading them to suggest I make a channel. I tend not to tell any co-workers, family or my other circles of friends, but eventually they found out through my social medias. Honestly I see no harm in telling people you know, they can provide some good feedback and support your channel even further. I say go for it!
