Need Help With AdSense on YouTube

Hello,

I have recently created a new YouTube account (named GregFromWendys) and signed up for AdSense. I submitted my application and got a "bounce-back" email from Google AdSense. The email basically said that they could not accept my application because I had another account with similar/same information. I did have a similar account and after recieving this email, I deleted that account now only having one account.

The question: How do I resubmit my application to Google AdSense since I have deleted the account with similar/same information?

I have provided a screenshot of the email from Google AdSense below. I have blocked out names of accounts for privacy reasons.

Question for you. If you already had an Adsense account, why did you apply for another in the first place? You should have simply connected the existing Adsense to your YouTube account and avoided all this hassle.
