More Subs or Views? Which one do you care the most?

This is a tough one since they go directly hand in hand but I would say views because of my content, it's silly, it's fun it's meant for you to have a good laugh and hopefully stay to have a dose of laughter whenever a new video is released.. but i suppose your unique touch is what get's people to sub, so many people might be doing one thing but you really need to ask yourself what do you different and better then everyone else.

Personally, I like seeing a sub. Subs are hard to come by if you're doing it legit. For me, I feel like I connected with someone rather than just got their attention for a short period of time.

I agree, but I think we are in the minority lol.

When people determine whether a channel is big or not they usually just check the sub count, not the views.
I have more than 2 million views but only 9.600 subs so my ratio is pretty bad. Yet, in the end all that matters are the views you get in.
From the 135.000 views I had during the past 30 days, only 3.300 came from the subs. Yet, they are important since they always give me the first ~300 views.

I say views are more important than subs. I mean, if you view count increases then naturally your subscriber count should increase right along with it. More people watching your stuff = the greater chance you have at getting a sub. Getting subs is great but I'd still rather see my view count increase. I will admit that having a large amount of subs does look nice though.

Same here. However it could go both ways.

Views have possibilities to lead to subs.

Meanwhile subs are loyal viewers so you are certain the views are there.

Right now I'd say subs since people tend to rely on it credibly.
If subbed, the video will pop up in their daily subscriptions feed giving them a choice to watch every new release. The other viewers may come from to find it from a different source.

Views for me. Means my video could help anyone that views it but to be honest, having a sub feels good. It's like an affirmation to your content as a Youtuber.

Both come hand in hand. Human nature tends to look at sub count and subs to bigger channels. But for smaller channels to become big, we need to win over those viewers that will actually give a chance and sub to smaller channels.

I understand that both (Subs and Views) are important to make a channel grow. However, I have this feeling of accomplishment every time I see the number of views on my dashboard. My most viewed video has over 30k+, so the fact that my content can have that much reach amazes me every time. So what I'm trying to say is I care more about my views than getting subscribers. Here's why:

-Getting views is much easier than getting users to subscribe.
-More views could mean a better position in algorithm.
-I can mention that high viewing volume for business purposes (Portfolio, resumes, collabos, etc)

Also, views can't be taken away during YT auditing period (as far as I know)

What do you guys think?

They go hand in hand but i think personally i prefer the subscriber count. Currently i have 75 subs and am getting around 20-40 views a video which is a good return in my eyes. For me, getting a new subscriber is getting a new "fan" shall i call them?? and to me that's more satisfying than getting a big return on a video... Although i'm yet to experience astronomical returns in views on any video. Max ATM is 250 odd i think.
