Mean comments!

yeah thats another thing, I get annoyed when I got those comments. Today I got one saying please subscribe to us we have 1 video.....like come on now!
 
I tend to make all of my comments moderated. That way trolls cannot be fed as their bait never gets seen. Lately I've started leaving comments open, but if I get a lot of haters or trolls the 100% moderation will return.
 
If it's criticism, I usually leave the comment up and reply to it. If it's mean, but an opinion of someone, I usually leave it alone - other people tend to reply on it, sometimes agreeing, sometimes not agreeing. I think they all can have their opinions, so long as it doesn't get too out of control. If things were to escalate too much in the comment, I'd delete it. If it has too much profanity, I mark it as spam. If the same person were to post mean things on multiple videos, then I think would delete them and block the poster -- this hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure it will eventually. If it's a pervy comment, it goes straight into the trash! I'm a content creator, not an object. >.<
 
I've never received really mean comments. If some were offensive, I'd delete them. Otherwise I prefer to keep comments even if they are not positive.
 
If it's trolling, non-constructive stuff just delete/ban and move on. Their negativity is not your problem :)
 
unless they are attacking others or swearing all over the place for no real reason I leave it up.
Usually the other viewers respond or flag it as spam, esspecially sub4sub advertisement comments, they get spam flagged way before i notice them lol
 
I delete mean comments. They are inevitable but I won't allow them and their negativity on my channel. Constructive criticism is different but the straight up mean ones I delete right away
 
When I received my first mean comment... It was interesting. At first I was sad, but then there was a whole war were people were arguing with the one guy who started with the mean comment.
