Losing Drive To Do Youtube

I haven't uploaded much lately and I have a bunch of stuff that I've recorded. Just no time to edit since I'm finishing my masters program. WAY too busy most of the time. I've also been doing teeshirt designs lately, so that takes up my editing time as well. I've only had a couple successful teeshirts, but it's a rush when you see them start selling. It's a bit disappointing when they don't sell though which I've had a streak of lately... Youtube and designing shirts will probably never be out of the question for me, it's just a question of how much time I dedicate to each.[DOUBLEPOST=1411189392,1411189325][/DOUBLEPOST]
speaking of people leaving, where the hell is @KGATV ? I left for about a month because I was posting in here way too much, but I'm back now.
Kevin was unfortunately consumed by the movie theater he works at, in what has become known as the Movie Theater Apocalypse.

More on this amazing story at 3.

I work full time now ( either 6-7 days a week) but I have never been more motivated. Physically I am exhausted because I am doing manual labour on my own on a fairly large site. So my body is just crashing most nights. The thing that is keeping me going is the fact that I just changed up the content I am making.

I went back to what I was originally doing on youtube and its just made me so much happier. I have so much fun actually going out to film some of this stuff now. Have you though about filming something a bit different or trying something different ?There might be something you haven't done before which you really want to try ?

Would relaxing your upload schedule be something for you? If you feel you need rest take a break. People will notice anyway if you don't enjoy making videos.

I definitely have lost motivation in the past, but thankfully I'm currently going strong, and have been for about two months straight, and I absolutely have no plans of quitting in the near future. (I know that's not really a long time, but too many times I would make videos for about a month, then be like "screw it.")

I think everyone goes through periods of not feeling it or not having the energy to do a video. I'd say yeah take a short break and yeah when you come back to it, try to do a new type of video, something to take you out of your comfort zone a bit and see where that takes you. :)

Thanks everyone for the replies.....I'm actually surprised that some of you feel the same way that I do. Wasn't expecting that at all.

I actually like doing the simple lyric videos. They're easy to do. The problem is, people don't enjoy them as much as my real videos :/ The views really show that unfortunately.

I can relate to being pulled every which way. I think the biggest obstacle of all is time. But I have found that if you eliminate all sleep from your schedule, you will open up a lot more time for YouTube. And in your case, the lack of sleep will take your song-writing in a very different direction!

Screw the views, your mental state is more important then getting views. Just do what makes you happy

I think everyone gets that feeling, I currently am, but it sounds like yours may be a bit more stressful, being a mother and all. I'd say just to take a break and hopefully you can find that ~magic~ to start again :-).
