Large subscriber boost!?

You can decide if you want to get subscriber notifications in your channel setting. The reason that you don't get emails for everybody is that users can set their privacy to hide subscriptions.
 
Congrats on the boost in subs! maybe someone liked your content and it shared to their followers on twitter or facebook? Check your analytics when it populates
 
Most likely just a bunch of people who found your channel and liked the content...I've had a few (although much smaller) bursts...usually after posting in a new sub reddit though ^^
 
Most likely real. You could have gotten them in a day or youtube held them back for a day or two and pushed a bunch through.
 
Maybe someone found your content, shared it and people subscribed :) I also have days when I grow faster and days where I lose people (like recently - had 810 subs, went to 805 and now I "skyrocketed" to 832 - its never that easy as behind every single number is single person (unless you bought bots or did s4s) :)
 
congrats, keep rolling out good content and you'll see that at times something can make it really big :)
 
It happens... Just like sudden drops in subscribers when YouTube cleans the old inactive accounts. The bigger you get, the bigger the drops!
 
I had a subscriber pop from a single video topping in the search thanks to Youtube's algorithm. That one video has more views than all the rest of my videos combined. It could be something like that as well! KEEP GOING GUYS :D It's not just about the views, but it's nice to know someone is watching after your hours of work, amirite? ;D
