YouTube is not views generating machine, so obviously it depends on audience. What type of videos are they searching? Which time are they searching? How long videos do they prefer? Many factors should be considered into the review. However, I think it is common, you should try to promote more to reach the right audience.

I'd have to disagree with YouTube not being a "view generating machine" but I was trying express that I don't have a big following on my social medias but compared to my previous videos I'm not seeing the same view count
