Turning a “Meh” Acrylic Pour Painting into Treasures

4 Creative Ideas
Hello from Slovenia!Today, I want to show you something a little different.Sometimes, when we finish a painting, we don’t love the whole piece… but there are still beautiful details hidden inside.Instead of throwing that canvas away, I like to transform it into something new. You can always pour over your canvas if you want, but you can also reuse it in creative ways — and turn it into functional art.For my first idea, I cut out my favorite details and glued them onto blank greeting cards. This way, you can share a little piece of your art with someone special. For the second project,.I cut out a square from the canvas, glued it onto an MDF board, and covered it with resin to make a unique coaster. My third idea was to create jewelry. I glued small pieces of canvas onto cabochons and placed them into metal settings to make necklaces. And for the fourth idea, I decorated a metal jar with pieces of the painting. You can use it as a flowerpot, a brush holder, or even give it away as a handmade gift. There are so many possibilities. You can also frame smaller parts under glass or come up with your own creative ideas.I use Liquitex Gloss Varnish or Pva Glue to glue the canvas parts on boards, metal, paper, ...The point is — your painting doesn’t have to stay on the wall. With a little imagination, you can give it a second life, and turn it into coasters, jewellery, cards, pots, and so much more.I hope this inspires you to look at your old acrylic pours in a new way.Thank you for watching and see you in the next video.
