Is the like an alternative account? Did you make an anonymous account to ask this?Has Youtube gotten to the point where there are far too many people starting channels that you really don't have a shot of making it?
Also, do you think there are any new social media sites similar to Youtube that are growing and could compete with Youtube in the future? I'm thinking it might be better to build a presence on a new site, rather than trying to be successful in the huge ocean that is Youtube.
It is very saturated AT THE MOMENT. And I say this because over the next decades (if youtube is up that long) the youtubers who are successful now will slowly stop making videos, allowing us, the next generation of youtubers, and the generations to come, to take over. It will be decades of successful youtubers in each generation.
Why would they stop making videos?
the next few years young people are not going to retire and the chances of them dying are slim. Most popular YouTubers are in theirs teens or early 20s
