Is Twitch the New YouTube??

I think you can post to every platform at once and take advantage of that aspect as long as you can!! I'm about to start doing a different type of outro on my YouTube so that it works the same on Twitch kind of and do that!

Ehhh I don't know, I feel like both platforms are trying to be the other one more recently, but how well they are actually doing it is debatable. YouTube added streaming, Twitch responds with uploads. It is interesting because before this I didn't feel like they were even direct competitors. I'm not sure Twitch really has enough momentum to overtake YouTube for videos, Twitch has been around for a while and it is pretty much known as a streaming platform.

Interesting to see them trying to enter eachother's markets... usually I don't feel like this really works though. One platform usually isn't the go-to service for everything for a reason.

If you look back YouTube actually tried to buy Twitch and they declined the offer and went with Amazon instead. I think they have a shot at getting some growth just based off what YouTube is doing right now. They have a good platform they just need to adjust a few things and adjust the overall design of Twitch and it would look good and be good for uploads. I still don't think creators will completely ditch YouTube cold turkey style but they will probably be using both to try to transition and see what works best!!

Let's just go to facts. YouTube has 82 million FB likes, Twitch has 1.2M. Twitch has about 100 million users, YouTube has 1.5 billion (?) ?

No one is saying that Twitch is better than YouTube the fact that YouTube is huge and has dominated this area of the internet and video is obvious you would have to be a fool to deny that in any right. I'm just saying it will be interesting to see if they are able to compete or challenge them enough to get a reaction.

I think twitch bought me with "regular video upload service", and not "streaming only". :D I wanted to be on twitch for a long time, but back then it was stream only, and now when U said that it has regular video upload service ... you bought me twitch. xD

Good luck I'm gonna start working on setting up a twitch and uploading some of my videos on there just to see what happens, heck I might even try gaming a little. I'll have to figure out how to stream with my xbox but hey theres videos for all that now lol

I'm lucky that 95% of games which I play can be passed with multiple endings, some have 3 choices at start, some of them can be played on keyboard and gamepad. So I will just play with which to upload where. :D I just need to figure something out with my adsense, since I have problems with it.
