Is there something holding my video back or can Related Video take a really long time to rank?:
I have a new video on my channel since over a month ago (Glass Joe's Title Fight) and it shows up great in youtube searches and it gets very good audience retention (70% or more per day) but it still isn't showing up at all in Related Videos next to vids that it SHOULD be. Even older vids from my channel show up and unrelated vids from forever ago that don't perform well, but I am missing out on tons of views. Watching other videos from the same band and same song even yields no related hits for me.
Also it doesn't show up well on google search even for the same search terms i use on youtube that it ranks on the first page for. Another person recently uploaded a Starbomb animation and is having the same problem.
Is there something going on holding it back so it only ranks in search and not related vids? Can it take more than a month to get started? Past vids I've done of the same music group only took 7 days to show up in related videos.
Out of 40 Related Vids you'd think if I watch another user's video for the same song title my vid would be related somewhere.
