Well I agree for me, Youtube is purely for fun, but for me a lot of the fun is the views, for me personally my videos get maybe 300-400 views a day, and some videos do better than others, so seeing a video that got alot of likes and comments makes it feel fun, as I produced something that people enjoyed watching, and for me half the fun is making videos, the other half is reading the comments and seeing what people say on social media, so naturally I enjoy having a more popular video more.
