Inactive subs?

Isn't that how all forums work though? It's just how the forum works through members who don't know how the system works. I don't think any of us are qualified to say that we know exactly how to get said amount of subs or said amount of views. We just give generalized advice.

This being said, The best bet to do is not scam your viewers. That is actually a real let down to be honest... Think of your viewers like a second family that you want to see thrive, not fall.

Believe me I'm all for giving help as best you know. That's perfectly fine to me, but the patronizing "Be honest, how much sub4sub did you do in the past (or still do)?" is just irritating.

You have to post the content that people want to watch. Having a whole lot of subscribers doesn't help if you're not paying attention to what resonates with your viewers. Check out your analytics and see what videos have the most views, and see if you can spot any trends that can steer your content toward something that will get people to click and view.

Sub4Sub is a thing that always nagged me. I can understand from the concept of it... but in in a very wise point of view it doesn't help your channel gain publicity. If anything it makes your channel look fake, and that's the last time you would want to do.

I understand that and completely agree, I'm not against people being against sub4sub, I'm against the guy that said it in what I consider a pretty patronising way. It adds nothing to the thread and makes him sound like a douche at least the way read it.

I have a feeling only a quarter of any person's subs really watch regularly . This goes for the big YTbers too. Grumps have 3 millions subs but but most of their videos are around 100,000 to 300,000 views which when you think about for having 3 million is not a lot.

300,000 would be 10% of their viewer base, which is normal for a gaming channel. I generally agree, though. In my experience, your viewer/subscriber ratio tends to get worse the larger your channel is.

I always sucked at math granted if they make 300,000 per video in a week and do 3 per day they are still making good cash XD

Likewise, statements on this forum are for constructive criticism not to nagg someone and tell them that their channel is fake. Last I checked, this forum was community based on YouTube, not 5 year olds from Newgrounds. Regardless if this YouTuber did Sub4Sub, that's none of our business and we should simply support them in their time of advice.

Oh, I'd be happy with 1% of their views! :D

Based on my understanding of YouTube, I believe that regardless what number of subscribers you have, it doesn't determine the amount of Subscriptions, Likes, Favorites, etc. etc. that you'll get in the future. We'll have to take into consideration that 2/3 of the world probably does not have a YouTube account while the other 1/3 of the world does. Even if that is the case, that 1/3 is working on their own channels as we speak. The competition for the other 2/3 to view their channel only is astounding.

If we all do our best and work hard, viewers will come to us and not specifically because we advertised the crap our of our videos.

This would mean that two billion people have an active channel, which is certainly not the case.
