i7 3770k, Enough for Recording? Rendering?

I run games and record on i5-2400 + nv gt440 without problems altho, I'm not playing games on uber high settings or anything that needs a fast PC but casual games work totally okay, Mincraft runs totally fine 30 FPS 720p ( not with fraps, but with realtime encoding by FFSplit ) so yea, you should be okay with that setup.
 
I have an i7-3770k and I can say it is a very good processor but I sometimes feel like it is actually overkill when playing games because a i5 would do just fine. The i7 definitely helps with programs such as Photoshop and Sony Vegas. Overall the i7 should be just fine for recording and rendering but if you wanted to save a bit of money the i5 would perform almost just as well. Hope I helped! :)
