So i've just received my brand new microphone, that i've already downloaded Audacity the software that is easy to use for sound editing / Deleting background noice.

I'm on a Macbook pro 2015 version, and when i finally go to / System preferences, sound, and there i see the name of the microphone, but when i click on it, it stands ( The selected Device has no input controls ) And when i choice the microphone in audacity, it doesen't want to record my sound! but when i choose ( Internal microphone ) It records!

Can somebody please help me!

Go to applications-> utilities-> Audio & midi utility.

Make sure the input levels for the external mic port are turned up all the way.

You should try that?[DOUBLEPOST=1483448419,1483448368][/DOUBLEPOST]May be called Audio MIDI setup rather than Audio & midi utility

What i meant by external mic was the mic you put in suggesting its named "Rode NT-USB" i suggest turning up the inputs to full

Sorry but turning the inputs to full? How do i do that? Should i turn the ( M ) ( 2... ) ( 1... ) to max? or should i right click on " Rode NT-USB " And make it Use this device for sound input " And the other ?
