I Just noticed something quite funny!

So you know vlogs or any video on youtube I guess, I'd say half of them starts with 'hey guys' seriously check out some vlogs and tons of them start with it. It's the most used phrase on youtube!
 
I guess its because most people cant think of a better way to open their video's plus you can't really knock it, its a great way to set yourself up to just to talk the camera.

I think "hey guys" is like the most natural thing, I just feel like it's more personal...even though I don't use it, it's like you're actually talking to the people.,
 
Whoa, I start with "Hi, I'm Will and welcome to my video" I've done it so much I'm not sure how to change it up haha.

I do it too :P I once saw a video with a bunch of 'hey guys!' thrown together, from all different kinds of youtubers. The video was long..and said nothing but "hey guys". It's interesting :)

I just think it's natural to say "hey guys" in the english language because that's just how we address a group of people "guys"
