Yeah and it's...weird that it addresses both male and female ...when we think of 'guy'..it's like 'that guy is great!'..but as in 'hey guys' it's everyone

It's the same in other languages... like in french if you're talking about a group of girls you say "Elles" but if there's one boy in that group it turns to "Ils" (because the masculine win...) sounds sexiest but I didn't come up with the rules...

So you know vlogs or any video on youtube I guess, I'd say half of them starts with 'hey guys' seriously check out some vlogs and tons of them start with it. It's the most used phrase on youtube!

Oh well I start by saying "Hey people...."

I do it too I once saw a video with a bunch of 'hey guys!' thrown together, from all different kinds of youtubers. The video was long..and said nothing but "hey guys". It's interesting

Most of mine start with "Hello Everybody". I know I do this when im doing it... I don't stop myself though.
