I just do youtube for fun, Do you?

I love making videos, and it's fun. So yeah, most of my income there would go to my monthly giveaway, I love seeing people getting their games, etc. Would be awesome if my cause could go big though.

Purely for money. If and when I start a channel for my music, however, then it will partly be for fun but still the goal will also be fame and money.

About 5 years ago my friend made vlogs on his channel and I was in a bunch of them and that was really fun and I loved watching them at the time, I still go back and watch some actually. Eventually after about 2 years he stopped making vlogs which saddened me but we still hung out and all, just no more videos. I did not have a camera at the time nor the confidence to start making my own vlog videos.

Fast forward to March of this year, I had finally saved up enough to get my very own camera, a canon T5i. I had so many ideas that I wanted to do for videos and I still do, and I come up with more each and every day. At first I made daily vlogs because I wanted to document my life that way I could go back in like a year or two and see how far I've come and how I used to act. Recently though I found out that my life was pretty routine and I was doing the same thing almost everyday it seemed like. I still get daily vlog footage I just compile it into a weekly video now if I choose to upload it. But now I'm just experimenting with my style and trying to find the videos I like making the most and I have one series that I absolutely love how creative it is!

So yes for me I do for it the thrill and fun of making videos because it let's me express my creativity! Sorry for the long post lol :P

My number one reason is to do it for fun, once I stop having fun then I won't continue or will change it up. But also seeing my channel grow is another motivation of mine:)

i come from a pro music world, when it all went to kittens, I had to innovate allll those years of slaver...errr experience and started my own production / entertainment company. I have a strong background / history, but i'm one of those guys that worked hard at learning my craft and didn't want to 'ride' on my past ...i just wanted a fresh start. - basically pure hell lol :D so anyways, I didn't want to be one of those producers that put static images for videos - dunno, i didn't like that as a consumer and thought I needed something visual to add to the value of my music releases. I started with a mini budget cam and realized i got bored filming the neightborhood and stray cats, then I discovered and started to learn animation, I learned the basics pretty fast because it's a similar concept to music production software - so now, I'm not going to drive myself crazy spending months making one video, I just make a bunch of fun quick videos as an excuse to put my music on, my art covers for my single releases have taken on a fantasy art theme, i make posters, tshirts and now considering making a video game with some new ez tools i found ....all pretty much because I didn't want to upload a static image to youtube to play my music lol.

so yeah, it's for business, but it's fun - like the facebook movie put it - make it fun first.

it wouldn't be as fun if I depended on immediate views though. so I just keep creating a ton of stuff knowing that one day you just wont be able to escape seeing something i made - I learned that lesson from AOL - those cds were eeeeverywhere!!

I do it for passion: I love space and related things to it, so i decided to start a channel related to space games.
I don't care about visibility or fame either, and I really enjoy what I've accomplished so far in 2 and an half months

I do just do Youtube for fun, however I want to share these wonderful (in my opinion anyway... sort of) videos I've made with others, so I am sad if hardly anyone views them.
