I just do youtube for fun, Do you?

I do youtube in collaboration with some old/good friends as a way to stay in touch. You know the stnadard "we'll keep in touch' line you give out to family and friends as you move on to different things in your life? With these guys I really meant it. So at the very least, planning and coordinating the channel forces us to stay in conctact.
 
I do youtube to establish my music career, haha! Its like back in days where people set up gigs in bars. But in this age, its more strategic to setup an online show. Haha!
 
I haven't earned a single penny for all the work I have put into my channel. If involving money it would instantly kill the enjoyment in making YouTube videos for me. I also hate ads and don't want to annoy my viewers with it in order to watch my videos.
Although I make the kind of videos that is extremely time consuming to produce. Out of that I admit it would be very encouraging to get a few hundred more views per video.
That is the one thing that can get me very jealous of other channels, that they can get hundreds of views on a video it didn't take them long to bring on. Like how do they get all the views.

I'm lucky if my videos pass by hundred views. I have for long time forgotten how it is to reach the 301+ frozen status....
 
We do it because it's fun! And it's so fun to preserve the memories! When we're in a bad mood or just don't feel like filming, we don't! We try to keep it as low stress as we can! No point doing it if it's not fun!
 
Yes! I do all my videos for fun and to make people smile, that is my sole purpose and goal for my channel. To make people laugh and smile every time they watch one of my videos and I know I am doing my job right through the comments section when people post and tell me how they enjoyed it. That's what motivates me and helps me to continue making videos :).
