I don't know what to change

I've Got It
Hey guys, so I've been trying to wrap my head around what I need to change in my videos to make them more enjoyable to watch. Like the kind of music I use or the length of a video, branding, etc. I was wondering if I could get some feedback for the channel, see what people think and what I could change :)

Cheers,
Paul

Hey man,

Had a look at your channel; watched a couple of recent videos. Good stuff. Especially enjoyed your Liverpool 2016 video. To be sure I didn't spend hours on your channel, so this is just a first impression review. I think you are still developing a lot as a content creator, which is awesome. Saw some definite talent. Liked the shots you chose to use in your videos and there was a good variety of different kinds of shots. I think you have good insight into what makes a good interesting shot, which is very important. Also liked your style of editing and the use of music in your videos. I was less impressed by your camera handling skills. A lot of your shots were well picked but sloppily executed. Pans going too fast and a lot of the shots are way too shaky. Focus also seems to be an issue here and there. Shots like that will turn away picky viewers like me. Outdoors audio also a thing. On your Vlogs I would avoid walking, talking and recoding yourself. Being on camera is difficult, making a good shot is difficult, doing both while walking is nearly impossible without excellent gear. Get a cameraman, better gear or stop walking. Also saw some shots where you were moving the camera and yourself a lot which made the video seems restless. If that was the intention, cool. If that was not the intention then I would spend some more time being more conscious what you are doing with yourself and the camera during a shot.

In my opinion you should think about what type of content to create. I think your talent lies with the more artistic stuff, like your Liverpool video.

Ow yes one final thing. Love how your banner looks but it lacks in one aspect. In my opinion a banner should be visually attractive, which yours is AND communicate what the channel is about, which yours doesn't really. A couple of keywords that describe what your channel is about would remedy that.

Hope any of this is useful to you.

Best of luck to you and your channel

^ that guy bossed it up lol

buy i agree, the content needs to be more specific, the shots were fantastic and the music was great. so there is quality, but as a viewer, why should i watch it? what's in it for me? and maybe ask yourself who am i reaching to with my videos? are you a travel channel, vlog, how to, product review (i noticed some video topics were everywhere) pick your product then sell to the audience, or better yet, pick an audience and sell your product (whatever it is you feel most passionate about)

if that was my 4 day travel video, i might have added interesting back story (Voice or Text choose your weapon) on those too.

that's my review as a viewer and a starting creator (I'm no pro)

P.s. The banner is very cool :)
:spin:

Your channel looks very nice at first glance, I like your banner and your bumper. I watched a couple of your videos, and I definitely think you have potential but I agree with the others about being more clear on what your videos are about. Maybe update your playlists - you have a fair amount of traveling videos so maybe they could be their own playlist instead of being part of the Vlog playlist. I also noticed you have some Tech Videos and some other random stuff - maybe try to choose between travel / tech / something else and have that be the focus on your channel. I think people are more inclined to subscribe when they see a channel that always posts about something they're interested in as opposed a channel who every now and then posts about the thing they're interested in. You could try to combine it though, let's say you get a new camera and make a camera review in the form of a travel video.

I really liked your editing of the Liverpool video, but as Onestephigher said, it would've been more entertaining if there had been some sort of (semi) narration.
I liked the concept of your 12 hours of travel video, but unfortunately you were pretty hard to understand in the parts where you were talking, particularly when walking outside, due to the background noise. I also took a look at some other recent videos.
In my opinion, and I'm no pro at all, the aspect you need to improve the most are the shots. Some shots are very shaky and/or out of focus. Your editing however is very good. I like your style, and the music is nicely chosen. You appear natural and comfortable on camera, so that's a plus as well. If you combine that with higher quality footage and a clear theme for your channel, I think it'll improve a lot :)
