If it gets under your skin think about this. If poor kids really do watch your channel they come for happiness and get it from your videos. They won't be able to afford it, but if they feel related to your channel, you do give them dreams and pleasure by creating this content. I'm also thinking of donating a percentage of my earnings when it comes to that, not to make me feel better but just to give something back to the world.
True, but I doubt these people would actually read your description and the information that anything is donated, nor would they care about anything but their own a**.
The funny thing, and I'm being 100% truthful, is we can't afford these toys too! I've used my Visa card to fund this channel, and for the last 8 months have been carrying a debt of close to $7k now at 27% interest! So if there's anyone whose poor, it's me. I just hope the channel earns enough to pay at least half of it off by Christmas.
I just don't like the negativity of reading these types of comments. My reasoning is, if you don't like kids channels, don't watch. No one is holding a gun to their head to click. All kids channels have toys, and toy hunts, and many have super expensive toys I have no hope of affording, like the cool 12V PowerWheels and those huge Intex pools. It's sad there's so many losers on the internet who put down those who are working their butts off to accomplish something.
Hence my question about getting rid of all comments. I actually thought of a risk free way to test it - I have blocked all comments for approval on new videos. I will release videos the next few weeks and keep the comments for approval, so they won't be published, and technically should not contribute to any algorithmic boost from social media engagement. Then observe traffic and see if not having comments show up is detrimental. If not, I will disable comments channel wide.
If I don't have to read this crap, and a lot like it every morning, it will be a much more happier and productive day.[DOUBLEPOST=1471501439,1471501329][/DOUBLEPOST]
I checked the channel. It is a small kid. If it is a kid sometimes I may answer but more often I just delete them (especially if they are really rude). If he/she is obviously not a kid and it is rude - just delete and block.
What I can say as a parent, is I hope my kids are never this rude. And if they are, I certainly hope someone tells me so I can teach them no to be little shites.[DOUBLEPOST=1471501649][/DOUBLEPOST]
I had a bunch of similar comments. Basically, I go over my comments once a day and delete everything negative.
I never reply on something like this in order to discourage him to write more hateful comments.
Just delete and ignore
Ye, i do the same. Thing is, I'm quite impressionable (I know I shouldn't be), so it affects me, even though I know it shouldn't. I hate starting the day reading 5 times how someone hates us, thinks the kids are dumb, *******, we're spoiled, stuff like that.
