I am trying youtube now and with an older channel I grew 700 subs in 3 weeks but with this channel in the first 7 days of this channel being up I only got around 2-3 subs. Any Tips or strategies to get get a first initial boost?

I believe it comes down how you network, get your channel out there and the quality of videos on your channel. This forum here is awesome to network and get your channel out there but again this has to be done the right way for people to pay attention to this. And lastly if you don't produce videos you enjoy making and to a somewhat good standard to view then people won't subscribe. Keep aiming to find long term viewers but be patient you will strike something soon and the boost will come.

Yep network and quality content is the best way of getting subscribers. I see, however, some Youtubers recomend sub4sub in the beginning just to get your channel "started". I did it in the beginning but as you will find out it is pretty much worthless cause you will get no or very few views

"How to grow my channel?" questions like this are too general and this question has been asked and answered lots of times already. Since the answers don't really change, these threads get locked. Otherwise the forum would be full of them. :)
