I've been posting gaming videos on you tube for a year now but finding it really hard to gain subscribers, is it something I'm doing wrong or is this normal when starting out
It is always hard to starting out,do your thing and give it time and it will shine. hard work is supposed to be hardI just went deep.. Don't ever let me go deep
Massive help, thanks, the reason they're long is because I stream, they then get uploaded to youtube automatically, agree with the talking, I do often neglect my micI heard that the first 100 subscribers is the hardest to get. Then to 1000, and your channel starts to grow by itself.
Just make sure to check audience retention percentages. If they're low, they aren't entertaining enough or they're too long, so try to improve your content based on that. From what I can see, your videos are WAY too long. Most people won't even click on videos longer than 15 minutes.
I can't watch your videos right now because it'd kill my data, but if you don't talk, try talking in your videos. People subscribe to either talent/skill or personality. If one doesn't work, try the other.
Hope this helped
Not cool enough in my case[DOUBLEPOST=1445957331,1445957209][/DOUBLEPOST]WIt's INSANELY hard to start YouTube! Especially if you haven't found the right audience straight away or in a niche of your own. Or like me. Too cool for a fan base just yet.
will doIf after a year you aren't gaining that many, you're doing some things wrong.
I recommend watching some of the videocreators tutorials.
Thanks for the help, seems your doing wellI'm doing youtube for a year now and working pretty hard I feel (as much as i can with a day job of 40h a week). Currently I am at 359 subs. Not the biggest amount, but I am happy with the result. Maybe that can be a quideline for you to see how you are doing.
