How do you keep yourself from giving up?

I agree with what's been said above - it's best to ignore the numbers and just keep making videos that you would want to watch :) BUT I know one of the reasons youtube is awesome is because it's meant to be a social network, and when it feels like nobody is commenting it can feel a bit lonely/invisible. What helps me is to be a bit of a fangirl for other people or things - I review music so I'll go check out new music videos and post on those/tweet at those people etc. and it fills that social void for me, lol. So basically, if you figure out what you're actually passionate about seek out online community about that instead of waiting for the community members to come to you :) and in the meantime you'll rack up a bunch of comments and lovely active subscribers!

You have an attractive channel with amazing videos and catchy thumbnails! I just did a quick look over your channel, and it seems that your "Becoming the Mad Hatter" video has the most views by far. And I am sure the majority of your subscribers have found your channel because of that video. What I would recommend to you is that you continue doing makeup tutorials on a similar vein to the Mad Hatter video. Obviously there are a good amount of people wanting to look like the Mad Hatter. Here's a suggestion that I think might go well. Star Wars is uber popular right now and is being searched a lot on the interwebs. How about doing some makeup tutorials for Star Wars characters? Just a suggestion. Good luck! Keep on keeping on! :)

wow! that was really good! and yes, the Mad Hatter has an insane amount of views... I can't even believe it! lol.... It is my fav character, so I'm pretty happy about it :D
I'm gonna try that star wars characters, eventhou I know nothing about it lol.... how do you know what it is most searchable right now? is there a way to know??

Glad to help any way I can! :) I'm basing my Star Wars hypothesis on the fact that a new Star Wars film is coming out this December. Therefore a lot of people are searching for "Star Wars." It's a "hot topic" right now for sure! So take advantage of the increased search volume. Also, you may want to consider changing your title a bit on your Taylor Swift video. According to Google Keyword Planner, the phrase "look like Taylor Swift" only gets searched 90 times in a month. While "Taylor Swift Style" gets searched over 200,000 times a month! "Taylor Swift Sexy" gets search about 50,000 times a month. "Taylor Swift Makeup" gets searched 5,400 times a month. Maybe you can alter your title to something that includes the keywords "Taylor Swift", "Style", "Sexy", and "Makeup." That should optimize your video so more people can find it through searches and video suggestions. This is only a suggestion. Please don't feel like you have to follow it. Good luck! :wink2:
 
Make a change , if something not working in life it gets fixed. Use that in your channel , im not saying your broken im just stating that after such a long period perhaps you should do some research. Watch a few of your videos back , then watch other people in your area of expertise. What makes there channel more appealing , do they do something special ? How about something original that sets you out from the rest. If you love making videos then its not a race , thats what will make it even more rewarding when you hit the milestones.
