Help! Video Making Software Advice

Hi! I make videos (clips set to music, kinda like MTV). I've been using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11, which I love but I'm looking upgrade as it's ten years old. Which computer and which program would you recommend? Thank you!

AGREE, if you have been using Sony Vegas this long, no need to change, just need to upgrade to the latest version.

As for Computer I'm using a AMD Threadripper 2950x, 32gb Memory and 1080 Geforce.
It's FAST and all 32 cores go into action when encoding, Plus Sony Vegas can use the power of the GPU for encoding also.

Sony Vegas belongs to the group of the best editing softwares.
You can try Premiere pro, it's in my opinion slightly better,
