Hello. So I've never had this problem before and randomly a couple days ago when I was trying to render my video in Sony Movie Studio, it crashed with a window saying to send a report or not. At first I thought it was just random, so I exited the editor and went back in but it still didn't work. I tried it at least 5 times, then I restarted my PC and went back into Movie Studio where it kept crashing. I tried finding the latest updates for the software but since sony softwares just got bought out, the update download pages aren't there. I've tried literally everything and nothings worked, and its not just the one movie project because I tried it on other previous projects that exported just fine, but this time around it just keeps crashing. If you guys have any idea whats happening PLEASE let me know!

Hmm... maybe try reinstalling? I don't use that program, I use Adobe Premiere Pro (which I highly recommend).

If that doesn't work, it may be an issue with a previous update. Maybe there's a YouTube tutorial fixing it?

Well, I reinstalled it and its still won't render...

Hmm. I really have no clue then. What about the render settings? Sometimes on Premiere my render settings get messed up and can cause issues. Maybe that happened here?
The thing about rendering is that I can't even get to the point of starting it, because usually want happens when I go to render, I hit the export button, then it ask where I'd like to save it, then it ask me about what settings I want. This time around however, I get to the point where it ask me where I wanna save it then it just crashes. I think I might've figure out the problem but I'm not sure. I think since the company got bought out, they're getting rid of older versions of the software, and since mine is technically "old" and I can't update it, its causing problems.

That could be the issue too, that's happened plenty of times with other software. Maybe you can find a trial version online of a different editing software that will cause you less grief. I know Adobe has systems that allow users to pay things off over time rather than in full, you could always go that route. :)

Yeah definitely. I've been looking into Adobe and I'll definitely have to do something like that, Thank you for your help! :)
