I'm just wondering if you guys prefer microphones over gaming headsets and why?

For gaming I use a headset, for some reason it gives that gaming feeling. Maybe a lame reason. But when I record something for my drinking game video I use a mic. Trust Mico.

I prefer them separate, so you can change them when the need arises without having to bother about the other element.

When I make my videos I use a headset to hear the game but I record on my actual mic which is right next me.

We like having a headset to hear the game, but definitely prefer to record using a mic!
