Handbrake or no?

Hey, so basically I've been trying to decide whether or not I should use handbrake on my videos before I upload? I have really crappy internet so I'm not too sure. I also don't want to impact the quality in any way. What do you guys do?

I use Handbrake a lot to convert the frame rate of videos recorded through my phone. It's not the most user friendly applications, but it's incredibly useful.

Alright thanks, I use it currently, but only to change the file type from ts to mp4 occasionally.
