Google Plus Commenting on YouTube - ALL G+ COMMENTS POSTS HERE

It will take some time to get the hang of the new system. I see the big picture as to why it is better. While there are obvious problems, as they get worked out, it will be old news. As for those who don't want G+, that's fine too.

I couldn't even reply to some people I think they are taking away the interaction.

Was there no reply button there? They are still rolling / fixing it up. Some people can still comment without G+, but no one could reply to them.

It takes time to update from what I've seen. If there's hardly any +1s it defaults to recent comments. I was able to make top comment with multiple +1s, although I may just be seeing myself at the top due to G+'s new feature where they want you to see the most "important" people to you in a more prominent spot. So it could mean nothing :/ lol

My understanding is that the definition of "top comments" has changed. It used to be the comments with the most upvotes. Now it is more of WHO is making the comment. People from the channel's circle, followers, VIPs and all that G+ stuff get pushed up.

That was one of the main reasons they changed the comments system. To prevent spammers writing comments and then using bots to upvote their comment from multiple accounts.

The point being, the person leaving a comment should NOT have the option for preventing the owner of a channel replying to a comment about his/her video on his/her channel. So yeah, we can blame the company.

Yep. The reply button was there. So I typed in the comment.....and clicked reply.....and it came up with a yellow bar and said "you are not allowed to reply to this comment."
