Getting subscribers, and earning money.

I started with not knowing anybody on PC, nobody who subscribed did I know socially, or at all.. and I gained over 30+ subs in little over a week (i think is good for a gaming channel) What I mean is, put enough effort to get to know people and be active, show support; and it should be returned. I didn't ask a single person to subscribe, but a good amount of the people I stayed interactive with ended up checking out my channel. Just being supportive of others and helping them out and stuff; they will be aware of you and your channel and the kind of person you put on display, and that is probably the most effective way to get somebody to subscribe to you, in my opinion.
Generally if they like your content as well as the kind of individual you've presented yourself to be, that is when they subscribe! You don't even need to ask, and when you ask people to subscribe, people usually do it without really even really knowing your character or much of your content. The ones you don't have to ask tend to be more loyal and active. That's why there are accounts with 100+ subs getting less than 2 likes on a video because they asked for the subs, and a lot of time people on forums like these will sub even if they don't care for your content, just to show support, with the occasional few actually being fully interested in your content.
That might of been confusing, but yeah. I hope I got the point across. I think its better to not ask for subs, but let your content and personality lead people to subbing; it will get rid of the real subs from the unreal subs. Of course you should advertise and stuff, but don't ask people to sub, let your content and personality be the factor that decides that decision.
Ohh okay. That makes sense. :) I guess I just have to be patient, and keep advertising. I am glad that I have gamermingle helping me by sharing my videos. I should hopefully see some progress once I can upload a different variety of games. Thank you for clarifying! ^-^[DOUBLEPOST=1414115890,1414115813][/DOUBLEPOST]
It's stupid but the record button does not light up when you press it. It's the little things sometimes. You can still download their old version on their web page. Get Elgato and a good mic ad you are set.
I'll definitely do that. I also want to try live streaming as well so that mic is a must.
