I will. I'm determined to make a great video!
Hey everyone!
I finally have my YouTube channel up and running. I have 4 videos and upload twice a week. I currently have 23 subscribers within the past two weeks, and they're pretty much people I know. All of my videos are monetized as well. I was wondering, how can I get more subscribers, and more people to spread the news about my channel? Also, how can I really start earning money with monetization? I know I've just started, but being an ambitious person makes me want to progress faster. Does anyone have any tips?
The how to grow question gets asked a lot so I would suggest you spend some time browsing the forum and reading the many other threads and answers on this subject in the strategy forum and also the tutorials forum. Don't forget the search too (top right)

Change your mindset right now or your channel won't make it until next month !
Getting a fanbase take time, you will not be awesome at the first video either !
So calm down, take your time, this will be a long journey, enjoy every bit of it !
I do enjoy making the videos, but the only issue I'm getting fed up with is having to record my voice after recording my games. I really want to get a headset for my ps4 where the mic is closer to my mouth and I don't have to force myself to talk louder. When I have to force myself to do that it just gets annoying which causes me to not want to do it. At first I wasn't going to record my voice at all, but then I just decided to do it. Doing a voice over takes the fun out of the videos when in reality I just want people who view them to hear my initial reaction as I'm playing my game. I feel like the videos will be better if that was the case.
I understand. When I was testing out live commentary whilst playing the P.T. Demo, I really did have a lot more fun. It's just the ear piece Sony gives people with the PS4 that is pretty poor quality, and it doesn't really pick up my voice like my computer does. I'm going to try to get the headset I need soon so I can upload videos with live commentary that way I have fun doing commentary, and whomever views my videos can hear my initial reaction to whatever happens in the game I'm playing. I really believe my videos will be much more entertaining to watch with my live commentary instead of post commentary. You have to enjoy and have a passion for what you're doing. Even if this means waiting until you have the funding to get the headset. Just like @JRTrax did, your YouTube audience will be able to tell if the passion is there or not.
considering you are a female, i would suggest changing your YT avatar to your best selfie and make random comments on popular channels so people see you, then a tone of subs will come. This actually works, i have seen girl gamers with terrible quality videos and a random upload schedule gain 10-15k subs just from this method. lol. crazy but trueI understand.
