First negative comment--should I reply?

Ive only received two hate comments so far and I replied to both. Obviously the main thing is to not get disheartened. People tend to vent their feelings and take out their emotions on people they don't know. Aslong as you are not rude when you reply, I do not see any harm in responding to comments :)
 
If you look at the comments on some of my video's you will see some hate i usually respond with a cheerfull replie like " Haha your life must be filled with excitment :D" or if he makes serveral negative points about your video or about you, respond something like this
Hater: Do you know how to speak english? oh it took you 40 seconds in the video. sorry I couldn't really get that far my brain started to hurt. also do you even understand what spam is?

My Response : Yep I know Perfectly well what spam is, Spam is What i Say it is on my channel and "Check out my game walkthrough!A Link To His WalkThrough" I consider that spam. If you don't agree it's my channel and suck it up :D Also may i point out that you said that "do you know how to speak english? oh it took you 40 seconds in the video. sorry I couldn't really get that far my brain started to hurt" how would you know if you dident get that far there is no indication that i only start saying english phrases that far. And Also If i Want a video completely Without English will make it and your not gona have a say in it! And you liked your own comment xD

ps. I think that mostly everybody will agree that was spam
 
Don't reply to any hate comments it just brings you down to there level and they beat you with experience.
 
Kill 'em with kindness, but keep it short and sweet. "Thanks so much for sharing your honest thoughts. I'm just being honest, too."
