First negative comment--should I reply?

I kinda want to reply, something like "Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. While I respect your point of view, this is my channel, and I shall use it as I see fit, just as the YouTubers I mentioned use their channels to discuss their uncleanliness. I do, of course, hope you will subscribe!"

Not sure, though. Thoughts, my friends. I do eagerly await your opinions!

I think that would probably be the best way to go about it. By all means answer the comment (I aim to reply to every comment that someone leaves), and I think the idea of replying to hate comments with something witty is the best course of action, by no means give them the satisfaction of thinking you're insulted as that will make them do it more. What you wrote above as the sort of thing you would reply is definitely the right way to go about it! :D
 
Sometimes a little friendly sarcasm is what I'll throw. I always have people try to troll me, who have zero videos and want to critique my performances..ahah

There is always gonna be that 1 person on the interewebz.

Reply back saying something like "I bet you are not cleaner than me? Upload a video of what you look like and how clean you are." You might get a challenge video back or something haha

Why don't you just delete the comment and ban the user from commenting on your other Youtube videos in the future? i think that would be better and be way faster(takes less time) to do instead of thinking a good and smart reply back to the person.

That's what i do if i get a hate comment on one of my Youtube videos.
