Final Cut Pro?!

What's the reason though? Please don't say because they're better for editing x) we both know they aren't
Haha okay it really doesn't matter to me, but I'll say why I like them! I'm no computer geek and barely know anything, but the reason why I prefer them is because the OS is loads better, they're a lot more secure, it links with all other Apple stuff like my phone (so I can reply to texts, calls etc. from it), they come with a bunch of good software, the attention to detail is insane and it looks good, it has retina display so the screen quality is really good, and it seems so much faster than all the other laptops I have had/used (which were also meant to be good)...

I heard lots of good things about Final Cut Pro but if you want to make simple videos with no much visual effects then movie make is just fine.

I suggest Premiere Pro. Just has a few better features IMO and I find it a lot easier to work with (Even though Final Cut is very easy already).
I'd also go with Premiere Pro because if you use other Adobe programs like photoshop or after effects it is very easy to transfer projects between them without loosing any quality and you still have tons of control over the project in the different program because you don't have to render it first.

See that's an actual answer haha, fair enough. Just to say though it's not really more secure, it's just targeted less by virus makers because such a low percentage of the population use Mac

It is an actual answer, because its the first time you asked me a question ha! Ah cool.

Yea, it is,was just trying to find out your why before. Being quite tech savy a mac would never do for me..
Razer Blade will be my next laptop, looks just as good as the Mac (it's basically the same design x)

I think you should maybe try out iMovie first that that is included for free, if that isn't sufficient you could go for Adobe CC or if you really want Final Cut Pro. I would recommend CC more though, especially that it includes Photoshop and illustrator along with Premiere Pro and After Effects

Final cut is quite easy to use. Once you learn the short cuts is easy.

Also about the debate about mac and windows for me is the same. As long as I can edit and work on both well whatever there some stuff a mac can do a windows can't and viceversa lol

It depends, if you are doing simple editing with not too many special effects and fancy stuff you probably shouldn't buy it. Its a bit pricey and unnecessary for the basic editing you say you do.
Since you have a Macbook I suggest you use iMovie. iMovie comes with a Macbook and it is free!
Thats the editing software I use for all my videos and people are always surprised when I tell them it's iMovie because I have done many things with it.
It's a bit underrated to be honest. lol
