Face cam?

Hey guys! I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to what type of camera I look into for a face cam! I want to ensure great quality(1080p) and don't mind splashing some cash! Let me know what you started with or have had in the past! Thanks!

I have a panasonic gh1 which is pretty good :) I want to get a gh3 eventually :) you should check those out! Plus you can change the lenses on them as apposed to ones with a fixed lens
 
I use a basic cheap webcam atm ( ~$25), with good lights in the room it doesn't seem too bad.
I will upgrade to something with more FPS and resolution later down the track.
 
I have a little Cannon Powershot which did the job when I did gaming videos, great quality with the proper lighting and under $200
