Extremely camera shy?

Honestly I am shy in real life so it took me a lot of time to comfortably talk to the camera and be relaxed and even now I'm still learning. I think you can tel lif you watch my recent videos compared to the past. Sometimes people say I act strange or differently etc. but as long as I'm trying my best each time to be more comfortable I think it's a learning process.

Hey man, that could actually be a thing! Like Pewdiepies thick Swedish accent when he first started. His English got better with time.
 
Absolutely! When I go back to my earlier videos, I see just how scared I was to be on camera. It does go away after a while, and all it takes is practice.

idk im confident now but at the start my 13 year old self was squeaky and not that loud (I'm glad the video is gone )
 
You're not the only one. I do several takes of certain shots before I'm happy with it. It takes me some time to warm up to the camera.
 
I believe pretty much everyone struggles in the beginning because you're essentially talking to an object and on top of that you may be thinking about how other people will perceive you. So it's both weird and stressful :cold: It took me many videos to become comfortable and now I'm not even seeing the camera anymore. I'm somewhere in my head thinking about the subjects I'm talking about :)
 
I was very shy two years before, but Now I am not SHY at all. Only problem I face is that I am weak in ENGLISH speech, so memorizing the script and recording is kinda challenging for me.
 
I was at first, but I no longer put myself in the front of the camera. I don't have good camera equipment, so I stopped doing it. I was camera shy at first, but if I got int front of the camera again, I wouldn't mind.

I feel like I am just starting to get the hang of it now.
 
I am incredibly shy in person, however when I am in front of a camera then I dont seem to have any problems. The only thing I would suggest is remember that you are the only one watching yourself. Have confidence because people like to see you have energy in a youtube video.
