Does watching your own video to the end affect your retention positively?

I watch it completely when I put in the cards. At times I spot really noticeable mistakes that cause me to delete the upload, re edit and re upload. It is rare though, but it does happen!

Thanks for all the replies, but let's also talk about watch time. It apparently does wonders for your channel, but is it affected if YOU'RE the one watching your OWN videos? Otherwise this would be a little foolish, right?
