Does anyone get excited when you get new subs?

Yes definitely! If you don't get excited then there's something wrong with you!! Haha. At the moment I'm getting 1 sub every so often but uploading a lot more often now so hoping to see that go up alot!
 
I generally counts by the thousands now and I still very much get excited when I hit the next 1000. It also means that I can update my personal details on this website.
I think I had around 30k subs when I joined here?
 
I don't check my sub count daily so I don't even realize that I got a new one. I know that I am somewhere at 16k but not what exactly.
I am a bit excited when I reach the next 1000, like going from 15k to 16k, but since the daily amount of new subs is pretty stable it's not a surprise when I reach that.
 
Yep, I'm still glued to analytics throughout the day and keep checking to see my subscriber count. Up until the end of last year I was picking up just a few subs and occasionally losing one or two, but the channel has taken off now and I'm picking up hundreds of new subs every month. Still exciting to see the growth!
