DO NOT GIVE UP!!!

I Love YTtalk
There are so many aspects to creating a great and successful channel, but not giving up is probably the most important one. If you really want your channel to succeed, you can not just give up.
I get that sometimes it can be frustrating if your subscriber growth gets stagnate for a little while, but the only way to get past it is to keep going. Also always be willing to improve your channel.
It is kind of funny how many people I have seen that complain that they only have X amount of subs, and it's been X amount of time, and they think they should be ALOT bigger by now. Unless you get EXTREMELY lucky growing a successful channel takes time! Growing your channel takes waaaaay longer than some people think too. But its okay that it takes so long. That time of growth is when you perfect your style, and what direction you want it to go.
Also one HUGE mistake I have seen repeatedly that channels do is giving up on one channel, and then starting a whole new channel thinking it will go differently. If your going to do the same content, but just on a new channel then there is no reason to start a new channel what so ever. You are actually just shooting yourself in the foot by starting a whole new channel. I could understand if you want to do a completely different kind of channel, but most people I have seen do this it is the EXACT same kind of channel. It will not go any differently than it did before.
So overall just DO NOT GIVE UP!

I completely agree with all of this! Growth can be so hard, and there are easily hundreds of times in your time on YouTube that you'll just want to jack it all in and sulk for ten years.
But that gets you nowhere. And I believe in anyone who reads this comment! You can do it!

Very good points mad here, espically about starting a new channel bacuse the current one isn't working out. Keep at it guys and the hard work will pay off :D

Very SOLID points on here. I have seen so many people starting a new channel because they do not have 1 million or they stop growing while doing the same thing. And some are considering starting a new channel while they stay doing same tactics. Great post Brink!

If you enjoy building your YouTube channel, why give up?
Each new video you post is one step closer to getting a new subscriber.
Think of posting videos as like building apartments. Each new apartment will house a subscriber, maybe they will bring a roommate or two with them. If you didn't have any new video's where will all the subscribers live? They will go elsewhere.

Same with giving up on your channel. The building will go derelict and subscribers will leave.
If you are passionate about Youtube and concider it a good fun little past time then keep the faith.
Stay Strong because the foundation of a channel/building/goal is only as strong as the person supporting it. :-)

Thank you for your post. I'm af surly new youtuber and have been feeling a bit discouraged of late with gaining views but not translating into subs. This is my hobby as well so it'll never be a full blown career but that's cool I like my day job lol.

I feel like sometimes people watch my videos to see my cat invading them lol.
