Do Looks Sell?

Of course it sells. But it depends also on the YT category of your channel. For example if you are making YT advance calculus tutorials it will matter less than if you are having swiming outfits YT dedicated channel (for example).
All YT channels are between these two examples but in general closer to the the swiming outfits one.

I think it helps a bit but then how on earth am I getting subscribers XD it doesnt matter to much though and if that s how people judge others just on looks then then they shouldn't be on youtube

It's the sad truth about the world we live in, if we see someone we find attractive then we are going to watch them. Sometimes someone can have really bad content but have a really pretty face which can make people subscribe.
